I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Buck Compton. What a hero & an inspiration.
What saddens me more, however, is knowing that he wont get half the recognition that, say, Whitney Houston did. I’m not saying Whitney didn’t deserve that - she was an amazing talent lost too soon - but Buck fought on the front line for his country & others around him.
